  Dr. Gossett is amongst one of the worst people I’ve had the disadvantage of coming across. I went to him probably about 5 times, and atleast 3 of those times I left in tears from his lack of personable skills, and lack of dental skills. He has literally worked on my (and others I know) cavities without waiting for novocaine to kick in. The one time I cried because he didn’t wait enough as I had tears streaming down my face he told me to “stop moving so much”. Then he made me take full mouth X-RAYS even though I told him I could send them from my other dentist but he sat there for 15 minutes persuading me until I finally had to accept and THEN CHARGED ME FOR THEM!??? Then he filled a tooth with a temporary filling (mind you he did not tell me it was a temporary) and it fell out and he fixed it again with temporary for some reason. Then charged me $88 for that! What a load. I ended up getting it filled elsewhere for a third time and his dental practice is forcing me to pay for a filling that twice fell out. Which is ludicrous considering my mom has paid him THOUSANDS of dollars for my family’s work and he is being petty about $96 I should not have to pay. Whomever called me about the money refused to work with me and said if I had gone back to him a third time I wouldn’t have had to pay. But why would I continue going to a dentist after he’s done two fillings on the same tooth that both fell out and he’s rude and causes pain??? My aunts and cousins and tons of family go to him. It’s shocking he would risk losing so many patients over $96. Absolutely would NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. 100% manipulative and barely gives you any say or information on the work he is doing TO YOUR OWN MOUTH. he should not even be open at this point. I love my new dentist. Thank you Hinsdale Dental for fixing this mess!
